Rain, rain, go away!

It's poured rain for the past two days.

When you live on the water the humidity is naturally high, making it impossible for anything to dry. This is of particular concern for those wishing to live the marine or marina life. On a boat, moisture collects as condensation or standing water from leaks.

Every boat has its unique leaks, and no boat is spared. Therefore, when you have a boat or live on a boat, you're constantly battling water, mold and mildew. Our Malevolence is no exception. My keen sense of smell, powers of observation and allergy has deemed me the Official Mildew Warrior. It's a title and esteemed duty I hold with pride. Chad, with his vast experience in marine transportation and needle-gunning the deck of a 400ft ship, is the Stopper of Leaks Superhero.

Chad combats leaks with refitting, valves, rubber, epoxies and silicone. I combat mold and mildew with desiccants, Lysol, a scrub brush, and mold spore killer.
