I don't know why I woke up so early this morning, but it gave me an opportunity to watch the sun rise. Armed with my camera, I walked around the marina and took (what I think are) interesting photos. I'll let you be the judge.
Since it's Columbus Day weekend, boaters arrived in droves to take advantage of the last great long weekend before pulling or winterizing their boats. It's 6:00am and the parking lot is nearly full and buzzing with activity.
The water was oddly still. Normally, the surface quivers with activity from bugs alighting on the surface and fish trying to (and some succeeding) eat them. Not this morning.
The early morning light had this delicate pink hue that I tried, in vain, to capture. I need to improve my exposure skills and understanding.
Each needle of this fetzer bush held a tiny droplet of early morning dew. I didn't wear my glasses when taking this picture and think my focus is slightly askew.
I like the reflection here but, again, it was difficult for me to capture the gorgeous delicate morning pink sheen.
